2D Artist
About the role
We are looking for a 2D Artist to create stylized, production-ready digital characters and game assets for slot games. This role is focused on final in-game artwork: characters, props, and symbols that can be used directly in production, not rough sketches or print-style illustrations.
Before you apply: We need production-ready art — not sketches, not concepts alone. If your portfolio shows polished game assets (characters, symbols, props) for slot or mobile games, you're who we're looking for.
What we're looking for
Responsibilities
- Design symbols, icons, and special elements for slot games
- Create stylized characters — heroes, villains, NPCs — with strong silhouettes and personality
- Produce props and environment assets (backgrounds, UI elements, themed objects)
- Deliver clean, layered files ready for handoff to animators and developers
- Work directly with the animator and developer throughout production
Requirements
- 2+ years of 2D game art experience.
- Clean layered file delivery. You know how to prep art for animator and dev handoff.
- Portfolio with slot or mobile game art — characters, symbols, or game assets, polished and production-ready. Not just sketches.
- Strong character drawing fundamentals — anatomy, proportions, clothing, silhouette.
- Confident in Photoshop, Procreate, Clip Studio, Illustrator, or similar.
- Able to adapt style to match project direction and existing assets.
Nice to Have
- Experience using AI tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.) to speed up ideation — mood boards, quick sketches, style exploration. We don't want AI-generated final art, but smart use of AI in your workflow is a genuine plus.
- Understanding of Spine 2D animation pipeline — knowing how your art will be rigged helps a lot.
